Plot Summary

When young Cassie moves away on her own to attend the university, she finds new friends and a great apartment with both odd and wonderful neighbors. She goes to a cool club with friends and meets a gorgeous and sexy hunk she calls “Paulo” who dances great, pulls neat tricks with drinks, and makes her want crazy, wild sex.

Then the first nightmare came. The demons start to call, and she is bound by monsters in their hellish dimension, torturing her to surrender her soul. Night by night they visit, engulfing her in chains. They have her friends enthralled by their spell; and they can snatch away her loved ones if she dares ask for help. There is no one to turn to. There is no one to trust.

It is only Paulo who proves to be able to bring the Incubi at bay and he lets her in his house and bed, guarding her as she sleeps. He gives her respite from the demons... until they find a way to snatch her back. And then she finds that Saul — her Paulo — is not what he seems. He himself is chained, and he is the worst betrayal of the Incubi!

She is but a mortal and she is losing hope. How can she rid herself of the demons?
