Very much an erotic lesbian hot flash, the story focuses on two unnamed characters and their entanglement, the heat that is created and then the ebbing afterwards between both. There’s a bit of an expected edge overall, mostly in how the story develops and where things come to a close. It’s a bit of a shame that neither character is given a name or that their personalities and appearances are as shaded as they are. | |||
The succubus of the work, who is never named, isn’t stereotypical or evil as a whole. They are a being of sexual desire and need, which flows into the storytelling well. The hints of their character and form are woven into the story well, there’s a dominant edge that isn’t overpowering that I though was very well done too. | |||
Three and a half out of five pitchforks for the story and the collection as a whole. | |||
There’s really quite a lot of well thought out and interesting stories here, some of which really need to be made into long-form stories. Certainly, the science fiction story at the start, has a lot to offer all by itself. As varied as the stories are, the author I think has a lot of subject matter to choose from and expand on as well. | |||
