Harley loves machines, they delight her senses and turning something long lost into what it should be is a thrill. But the motorcycle she’s been restoring holds bound within a succubus named Siobhan and she desires something from Harley in return. | |||
The work is a wonderfully fun tale of self-exploration, need, want and desire that come together to tell a very unique story. The main character, Harley, has the right mix of sass and personality that just works so well in telling her story. Given that she’s the main character of the series, that’s important of course and the story sets things up for her really well. | |||
The succubus of the work, Siobhan, is trapped within the motorcycle that Harley is restoring. The descriptions of her, the effects she has on those that ride her, are nothing but fun and the hints of the heat are perfect. Taking Siobhan at her word that she is a succubus, what happens makes complete sense, but that’s where the story doesn’t quite turn as expected. | |||
Is Siobhan a succubus? That’s really the question. I tend to think she is, familiar or not. The rest of the series didn’t come back to this question, which was a shame. Still, the heat and story makes this a delightful read which I enjoyed. Not so much a story about a succubus in the end, but it well could have been. | |||

Harley loves machines, they delight her senses and turning something long lost into what it should be is a thrill. But the motorcycle she’s been restoring holds bound within a succubus named Siobhan and she desires something from Harley in return.
The work is a wonderfully fun tale of self-exploration, need, want and desire that come together to tell a very unique story. The main character, Harley, has the right mix of sass and personality that just works so well in telling her story. Given that she’s the main character of the series, that’s important of course and the story sets things up for her really well.
The succubus of the work, Siobhan, is trapped within the motorcycle that Harley is restoring.
