Plot

Short Summary

A series of wealthy humans are being killed by crushing, and Dyson and Hale are called in to investigate. They come to the conclusion that Fae must be involved and ask Bo and Kenzi to go undercover in order to seek out the killer. They agree, and with Ciara's help, they are brought into the world of the rich and famous. Kenzi and Bo then become suspects when one of the humans are killed at the party they are attending. After interviewing the suspects, one person, named Lita, that was attending the party is singled out as the most likely suspect. Bo and Dyson go undercover as a couple and meet her and she is revealed to be a Snake Fae. But it turns out that while she is one, the men were killed by crushing and not by poison which is how Lita would normally kill someone. It turns out that another Fae called a Batibat, named Maganda is killing the men in order to collect items they own that were made from a tree that she was linked to. They capture her, and find the Fae trader that has been selling the items to the humans in the city. They force him to return all of the items to their rightful owner thus ending the killing spree. Bo comes to a resolution with Ciara over her relationship with Dyson, and also comes to call Ciara a friend, hoping to find a way for both of them to move forward with their lives. Afterwards, Ciara and Dyson talk about their relationship and she reveals to him that she loves him and he promises to make her happy. Lauren goes to the Ash with the news that many Light Fae are being killed and in return for helping him to discover why, she asks for the Ash's help with Nadia, but he refuses her. When she defies him, he imprisons her.
