			The universe is a mysterious thing with its own rules and purpose. Sometimes it takes one soul to confront the purpose, to find itself, and resolve a choice. Sometimes that choice has been haunting them seemingly forever.

			The work is a mixture of fantasy, supernatural, military and action with a bit of mythology and legends tucked in as well. It’s very complicated, the characters, especially the main one, have a lot of issues within themselves and it’s something of a struggle through the story for things to, if not be resolved, than to come to an understanding.

			The narrative is very odd, at times falling to a very military theme before turning towards something scientific and then onto the supernatural. As such the story reads a bit scattered and lost at times, the meaning gets lost along the way. There is a plot that runs through it all, but to get to that requires a lot of side paths and other distractions to be dealt with.

			The character Lilienne can be described as a kind of succubus, mostly in her sexuality and a bit in her personality as well. But she’s more of a guide, a signpost for the main character and that is interesting to see where that takes them both. It’s a rather surprising turn of events by the end of the story.

			Two and a half out of five pitchforks.

			A very odd story told in an even odder way. The narrative is odd, the characters are odd, the plot is odd as well. There are just so many threads and concepts being thrown at the characters that it becomes confusing and at times very difficult to follow. A bit of an editing pass would help, if for no other reason than to make the narrative read better and get the points the story is trying to make become clearer and distinct.
