			Ava is at her breaking point, and she takes a risk to try and save herself. But not everything is as it seems and the succubus within her is not going to leave without a fight, or a threat.

			Much like the previous two works in the series, there wasn’t a lot I enjoyed overall because of the dark nature of the story. Ava continues to suffer because of Enzaxiel and that darkness is spreading out of control.

			Enzaxiel remains evil, of that there is no question, but some of the events are pushing at the edges of being horror movie memes. Once more there’s no heat in the erotica that I could find, the encounters are lust driven by evil intent. The story is well written and it works well overall to explore the characters, their darkness and that of those around them. There’s a lot of character development, more of the past history is explored.

			How the story closes is very much broken and lost with aspects of fate sprinkled in to give Ava that much less hope for what’s waiting for her. It’s probably the most interesting part of the series so far, and with that said, there are some really well thought out events and character development that means something. But the darkness has to lose a battle somewhere or the story will lose more than any hope there is, and there is a danger in that.

			Three out of five pitchforks.

			Things just get more and more complicated and while that is interesting, there needs to be a confrontation to close part of the plot and move forwards. Being the next work is the last in the series, I hope that’s not in a rush or just tossed out into the air without meaning. We’ll see what’s next and I hope that it’s all I expect it to be.
