			It’s one thing to be adventurous and quite another to have things go completely out of hand. For Ruan and Lina, things started out well, but having not quite told the truth about his magic powers was a bad idea. More so when Lina finds out that there’s a succubus involved, and for her there’s no such thing as a good demon. Perhaps Sioban will convince her otherwise.

			The work is a very short hot flash which mixes a bit of adventure with two characters at odds with each other and a succubus who decides that she’s had enough of the sexual tension between the two. Fast paced, with a lot of character and world building, the entire work is enthralling from start to close.

			The erotica fits the characters, the scenes have lovely heat and the fires within them that the succubus has enflamed is really well told. The dialogue between the two as things become more and more heated is just wonderful and adds so much to all of the characters by far.

			Sioban, the succubus of the story, isn’t quite what might be expected and honestly the snark, the teasing, and the delight she has in the sexual tension with the other characters just brought me to laugh and smile. But she’s more of a means to an end than anything else. She watches, sets the stage for what comes next, and then revels in what she’s done. There is some explanation of why she’s there, the connection she has with Ruan, but it isn’t explored or explained more than it happened and that’s where they are now.

			It’s a shame that Sioban wasn’t more involved with the story, but as little as she is, she makes a very strong presence and she becomes something of a mystery if not a narrator in her own right as to what’s going on. She isn’t evil, more naughty, and such succubi are those that I adore the most.

			Three and a half out of five pitchforks.

			Honestly this work just needs a series created from it. I dearly would like to know more about Sioban, how she got involved with Ruan and what’s been happening in the past, what happened with Lina in the moments before, and what comes next. The characters are far too interesting to leave things as they are. Hopefully the author will continue their story, I expect it will be as delightful amusing as this work was.
