			Some obsessions become more than they seem to be and for Claudio, it takes but one look at an image of a mysterious woman to fall for her utterly. But she isn’t what she seems to be, and he may be just another morsel to devour.

			The work is a very short, what I call a pamphlet, mystery with a very slight edge of a succubus them to it overall. It’s not erotica by any means, it’s more of a story telling of the main character’s fall into the madness which awaits him created by the woman he finds irresistible.

			With that said, the story is entirely focused on his thoughts, feelings, and the odd things that happen when he gazes upon image of her and what that leads to. His quest to find answers and at the same time be drawn to her further, takes up the entire story and brings an ending that is a bit disappointing in how abrupt and short it is.

			Cathy Agrippa, who can be described as a kind of succubus overall, is but a phantom, a ghost really overall. There are some aspects of her that are very succubus-like, but there are also other aspects of myths in her nature as well. She is a cypher, a puzzle to the last, and in the end she is more of a means to the ending than anything else which leaves her nature as a succubus rather undefined.

			Two and a half out of five pitchforks.

			More a story about a mystery and the infatuation which dooms the main character to his fate than a story about a succubus overall. There’s so dearly little told about that until the last page or two and it’s all in a rush revealing very little and leaving an ending that was just rather flat with what lead up to it.

Claudio, a young man from Scottsdale, Arizona, discovers the Instagram account of a model by the name of Cathy Agrippa. She is the most ravishing, beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes upon. Claudio becomes more and more obsessed with her, sacrificing his career, friends and family just so he look at her for hours on end. As his fixation strengthens, Claudio begins to notice some strange occurrences, things which make him question whether he is going crazy or if there is something paranormal and sinister at play.
