			Sometimes you meet someone that changes your life forever. For Henry, her name is Sabrina and what she reveals seems to be impossible. He might lose himself to what she offers, but given what that is, is it really that bad a thing?

			The work is mainly focused on gender-transformation with a bit of fantasy around the edges as things progress. The character development is interesting, the mythos is well told and works well to make the story what it turns out to be. The erotica has its heat and the transformation aspects are told in a way that works well for the story itself.

			The thing about this work that bothers me is that the title has the word succubus, as does the book summary. Beyond that, there is only one appearance of the word succubus in the entire story. With the understanding that in this work, succubus is used interchangeably with were-woman, it’s a very fleeting connection. Save for the sexual need and some specific aspects of succubus nature, there’s not a lot in the story to make it be a succubus one.

			It’s very much a gender transformation story rather than a succubus one overall. There’s a hint of a succubus theme, but it doesn’t come out well and how things are described save for one single sentence, there’s really nothing which connects into the theme of succubi all that well.

			Three out of five pitchforks.

			It’s an interesting story, the idea is really quite well explored. But from the perspective of wanting a story with succubi, there’s really not a lot there to hang things on. Perhaps it’s best to say this is a story with sexual beings that are similar to succubi, but really aren’t quite so.

A week before Halloween, Henry goes to a costume party where he meets a girl named Sabrina. But Sabrina has no costume and wears no mask.
