== Plot Summary ==<br />
Lost at night in Gothic Shade, a powerful storm forces Todd and Maxine—college-age friends driving home from a wedding—to get off the valley’s dangerous, winding roads. They take shelter in the massive mansion belonging to Karl and Emily, a husband and wife pair that, along with their French maid Colette, allows the young travellers to stay overnight.<br />
