			Ava knows there is something wrong with her and the mystery is a very deep one. An encounter brings her to face the truth and the teal mystery that has been waiting for her all of her life and love.

			The work is a fantasy supernatural adventure mixed with a coming of age story and set in a rather odd world as a whole. While passion flares, much of the work focuses on the mystery and the tnaglements around the main character and what comes of that.

			The work needs another editing pass, mainly for using similar sounding words in place of the right ones. As well some of the dialogue reads rather flat and needs more depth and emotion. As well, a bit more time spent in the narrative to clean up some confusion might be a good thing as well.

			As for the succubi in this work, Ava, the main character is very much a succubus in the midst of discovering herself, and that is interesting to see unfold. The lost aspects, the slow process of coming to terms with herself and, finally, finding meaning in her life are done well. The balance of the succubi and related characters are a little scattered, save for Rena, who is an entirely different and quite telling succubus herself. With all of that, there is some mythos built, but it needed to be delved into more.

			Three out of five pitchforks.

			The work closes on a cliffhanger and it is a rather abrupt one at that. It’s a shame the series didn’t continue, there was a lot of promise overall.

Ava was born into a world she loved but didn't love her back. She was different. It was so far to the left she had no right left. At sixteen she decided to run away. The perfect place to learn who she was had to be the human realm. She spent some time in Oklahoma and then landed in Springfield Missouri. She was happy there. Well as happy as she could be without her brother. She made a life for herself that included her love of other women. She hopped around the bars until she ran into Rena. This woman was very exotic. She was something out of a fairytale. When Rena agreed to go home with her it was a surprise. A great one. Ava was a succubus. She generally killed humans. Rena kept on going. She was just as insatiable as Ava. She thought she met her match until Rena told her the truth. Would Ava be able to handle all this change at just nineteen? Would she find love or be tossed aside?
