There’s a sense of just trying to make excuses over and over until there’s no option but to tell the truth and with all else before, it’s a bit of a mess for the characters. It’s </ins>in the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">tone of the dialogue more than anything else as the words are there</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">but the emotions get a bit run over sometimes.</ins></div></td></tr>

It’s the emotional shifts the repetitiveness in some of his dialogue, which bothered me somewhat. He is an incubus, the problems that creates at the beginning and middle parts of the story is fun however.</ins></div></td></tr>

More so at the climax of the story when she gets… let’s say trapped and what happens then just made me laugh in delight with all the little appearances she made before and what that did to the main characters.</ins></div></td></tr>

The reason for that I understand and it make sense, but with such a point made </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">not being brought to a conclusion, it was a bit odd. Similarly, another central character sort of dropped off the edge of the story and that bothered me. They weren’t the main character, so it’s understood why that happened, but </ins>it <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">just felt like a shame. The story had its moments, the heat and passion was quite a lot of fun as well. But at the same time there were points at which things seemed off somehow and that bothered me. Still, an interesting if complicated story and characters, I do think that there needs to be a third work in the series centred on Drenanian who fascinated me</ins>.</div></td></tr>
